Getting into the Christmas Spirit
Our staff had a great time last week getting into the Christmas spirit! Each day had a different theme:
Monday - Holiday Hair - Wear a festive hat or hair accessory
Tuesday - Festive Flannel
Wednesday - Holiday Glow Up - Wear something shiny or sparkly
Thursday - Feeling Frosty - Wear white
Friday - Grinch Day - Wear green
Merry Christmas from our festive bunch to yours!

Wichita County Child Welfare Board Gift Drive
Each year, the Wichita County Child Welfare Board hosts a gift drive for children in the foster care system. Staff members from our Wichita Falls and Burkburnett branches have been participating in this program for years and this year was no different. They had so much fun shopping for the kids and hope that this small gesture brings immense joy to these children on Christmas morning.

Decorating for Christmas at Booker T Washington Elementary School
Last week, a few of our Wichita Falls team members stopped by Booker T Washington Elementary School to help spread a little holiday cheer! Each year, the school allows local businesses to help decorate the Christmas trees in the foyer. This is our second year to participate. We hope the lights on the trees add a little more light to the hearts and minds of the teachers and students this holiday season.

Supporting City of Wichita Falls Fire Department's Operation Santa Claus
First Bank was thrilled to present a $1,000 donation to the City of Wichita Falls Fire Department's Operation Santa Claus. Each year, the local fire stations come together to bring awareness to this cause and spend thousands of dollars on bikes and toys for children in need. Last year alone, over 700 bikes were donated to kids in our community. These fire fighters also donate their off-duty time to assure that this operation is successful and the hope of Santa Claus stays alive.
