First Bank has been a steadfast pillar of Wichita County for over a century. Founded in 1907, under the name First National Bank of Burkburnett, by Joseph A. Kemp, a legendary Wichita Falls businessmen — who served as the bank's first president — and Frank Kell, First Bank was one of the first financial institutions to open its doors in Wichita County. Rooted in trust and service, we have grown alongside the families and businesses we serve, which allowed us the ability to expand into other areas. In addition to our Wichita Falls, Burkburnett, and Iowa Park locations, we also have branches in Aledo and Frisco and a mortgage loan production office in Plano.
